Hi,

It would be great, if you could appraise my domain name call4free.org.
It's for sale on sedo.com

Registrar: godaddy.com
Registered: 5/14/07
Website: No

Thank you in advance.

Earthbreaker

I think the domain name is good one but it should have been a .com

Moreover the 4 is a number in the middle on the domain name.

Still for appraising it I think it will go for Low to Mid $xx [Realistic]

Giving out inflated appraisals to make you happy is just going to waste more money of yours as you will stick to this domain name and would might invest more money in similar domain names.

Thanks.

Humm.... Your domain call4free.org is nice but I'm agree with the admin. Right now your domain price is $xx. But it's depend on you how to develop this domain name. If you think to sell this domain name and get high price then don't do this because that is no meaning of it. You get only reg fee from the buyer. So develop the domain and make some PR then sell it so you get good offer from someone.

Thanks.

The voip market is booming nowadays on internet so why don't you try and find some buyers in that kind of industry. If you are thinking of developing this domain name then I would advice you to get some affilaite banners from shareasale.com and CJ.com

So you can atleast get some revenue rolling from this domain name of yours.

That's a good idea.
I will do so accordingly.

Hello friend you can even rent your domain name to someone or some company. It just acts like a parking you redirect your domain name to the said site for specific period of time and cash it out with some money from the site owner.

Thanks.

Do you have experience with domain renting?
Is there a service to connect renter and company or should I contact companies directly?

The registrar of call4free.org is godaddy.com.
I checked their policy and couldn't find a point that prohibits the renting of domain names. Do you know if there is anything I have to consider?

Thank you.

There are generally no rules against renting, but it is not a common practice for the most part. In the past few years I have seen 3-4 sites that offer to rent domains, but people generally just find one to buy.

I registered FreePhoneCard.us and you can see what I have done with mine. It's not a great site, but I found an affiliate program that fit with it. I have some better plans for the domain, but it will be some time before I can put them into action.

The idea I have is to run some kind of monthly or weekly giveaway and give a way free phone cards. It will be tied in with one of my phone card sites, so those that don't win will be able to by a good card at a low price. The problem I am having is how to manage the giveaway program... :-)

Well the renting I was suggesting was due to some recent deals I had for some of my domains. EX: If someone is paying you $100 for each month for just pointing the domain name to his site then isn't it a good earning. And if you have set more then one domain name like this then you can have some steady income.

There is no service that I know of. It was just a private deal. I contacted the company. But if you want you can start threads or look for leads in the sections for the people who would like to get leads on this subject.

Thanks.

What is the purpose for doing that, to direct any traffic to the other site? It must be quite a bit or very targeted. $100 sounds very good to me!

Yes it is very targetted. Plus It can be even said the domain name is just perfect fit for the site to which I have rented it. If I would have parked it then it would have got 50 or so dollars. But 100 is good for me and it is also proving to be good for the client.

Lets see if he earns more from his site he might purchase the domain name from me which I have said would be 10K's.

Hundred months revenue for handing over the domain name.

I think I'll participate in some advertisement programs and try to rent the domain name.

Thanks everybody for the suggestions.

I think that renting may be the solution that you are looking for, Earthbreaker.

You may be able to find a non-profit organization that could pay a small sum for it. I know that there are some charitable organizations that assist in helping people get in touch with loved ones in other countries, and the long distance might be too much for them to pay in a dire situation. Maybe an organization like that could benefit from a rental since it is an easy to remember domain name.

Good luck on finding a solution!
