Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Jenna Dewan, Emma Roberts, and Whitney Port. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Jenna Dewan’s Updated ’70s Look

Jenna Dewan

Jenna Dewan rocked spring’s ’70s trend, wearing some high-waisted flared jeans with a pink and white striped tank top casually tucked into them, exposing a thin braided belt. She wore some studded clogs, giving her legs extra length, and accessorized with oversized sunglasses and a brown shoulder bag with fringe detailing.

My last few posts have featured looks with flared denim, which celebs seem to be favoring lately, so if you have a pair of flared jeans in the back of your wardrobe, let the celebrities inspire you to dust them off!

Jenna’s outfit is all about the ’70s denim – recreate her look with a pair of medium to dark-wash flared jeans, preferably with a high waistline. The jeans’ high waistline is perfect for tucking shirts into and letting them billow out — try it with this pink striped tank top, which is casual and ideal for spring. Finally, accessorize with pieces in the brown color family, namely oversized sunglasses, a handbag with fringe detail, and some heeled open-back clogs with studs.
Look 2: Emma Roberts’ Casual Plaid

Emma Roberts ran errands last week in black skinny pants, a plaid button-down shirt, and a leather jacket, accessorizing with some suede ankle boots, retro sunglasses, and a studded headband.

Personally, I love this look in part because I have an affinity for plaid tops – they are one of my go-to clothing item for a casual day. Also, Emma’s leather jacket is fabulous because it makes the look hip, while her booties work to keep the outfit structured and sleek. If you’re having a bad hair day, a studded headband like Emma’s is an awesome way to cover it up and still look trendy — no one has to know your locks are less than perfect!

To recreate Emma’s look, start with some black skinny jeans or pants – bottoms like these play well with a simple plaid shirt. Next, a leather jacket is both tough and trendy, while suede ankle boots are comfy even if you have a day of walking ahead of you. In addition, the boots have studs and buckle detailing, mirroring the studded headband. Sunglasses in a retro shape finish off the look.
Look 3: Whitney Port’s Mixed Prints

Whitney Port showed off her signature funky style by mixing prints this past week — a short red dress with blue spots was a unique pick to wear under a chunky gray and white sweater with various shapes, but somehow, Whitney pulled the ensemble off. She looked pretty and perfect for springtime weather, with her oversized sunglasses and flats.

A mini dress in a bright color and fun pattern, like this red dress with blue-toned floral print, is a perfect go-to item for spring and summer season. But if it’s still cold where you are, a chunky sweater helps the dress work through this “in-between” time of year. This gray fair isle sweater is perfect for this purpose – its neutral color and unique print helps it contrast just enough with the dress. Snake-print flats with silver studs and a black shoulder bag with silver hardware keep the look functional and work well with the ensemble’s color palette.
