Directory submissions time

Depend of how many links I wish to build and the project I am working on. It can be 2 hours or even 8 hours.

I'm linkbuilder so I spend 6 or 7 hours on directory submissions daily. I'm not so faster but I finish 1000 directories in 4 or 5 hours.

If you will do 6-7 hrs per day for directory submission then how many directories list you have ?

If you have huge list of directories then please share list with us because i have only about 2500 quality directories list.

The first thing to do is getting your list of seo-friendly directories. You would then need to make sure that the list is updated else you would waste time in visiting each directory. Every submission will take you a minimum of 3 to 4 minutes and that you can do around 15 to 20 an hour.

You have to think how to spend your time for a good reason, sometimes check a directory spend a lot of time.

You are doing manually or using any software because manually 1000 submission in 4 to 5 hrs a bit impossible. I think for 1000 submission single person can take 2 to 3 days.

Lustfun is right. If you will do all work manually then you would take at least 2-3 days for 2000 to 3000 directory submission.

You cannot submit to too many directories because a new site is not supposed to get a lot of backlinks in a short time. Unless your site is very popular, you should submit to a few directories in one day. You should not perform the directory submission every day. You can perform the directory submission at random days so that the submission process looks natural.

It detecting domain forums categories was a tough job as well as I didn't wanted irrelevant links. But I can say I was slow on it.

Directory submission can take a time while google can be indexed with particular time. These is really helpful to generating a more traffic.
