Do you sell links?

I have heard that many webmasters are nowadays opening sites with good info monetizes them with the adsense or a similar program and then provides rich pagerank backlinks for a defined price.

I had myself been in link sales from sometime. What are your ideas on selling and buying links.

If in past you have purchased some links then was it good for you? Did it boosted your site in any circumstances? If yes then how and if No then why?

Will start with my experience.

Got PR 6 links and a lot of PR 6 links from relevant sites. But am still waiting for the PR boost. I know it might depend on the outgoing links on that page but none of that page had more then 5 outgoing links.
