A very major role of iTunes is acting as an interface between the computer and an iPod. Often when we connect the two, errors pop up on the screen. Most of these errors can easily be resolved, but in doing so, we tend to lose all the data stored in iTunes. This includes all the songs which were stored on it as well as other things like videos, podcasts, play-lists etc. As opposed to a common misconception, all this data can be retrieved using an iPod recovery software.
