Quite numbers of people actually pay large sums of money just to get their website listed on the best directories out there, which I know. I really don’t think that directories themselves or even to the people paying them to post their websites. I will request you to pay money just to get your site listed in a directory. Lately I think about the ethics of the purposes of directories. I observe that how directories work and wonder about the importance to them like is it the services they provide to people who look for them, or is it simply the drive to become more popular and to make more money in the process.
