Google search doesn’t like my site

I recently launched my blog. I guess I have left no stone unturned to rank high on Google. However, Google seems to dislike my site. It hasn’t indexed my website. What do I make of it? I submitted my site to Google- manual submission at that. I also added meta tags and indulged in article marketing. I also opted for press release writing and Squidoo. Nothing seems to have appealed to Google. What do I do in such a scenario? I am fairly new to search engine optimization. Can you guys give me relevant inputs and suggestions? Thanks.
