I have not used adwords o any other advertising media. At first it was due to money but now it is for a record that I want to make this whole forum without spending a dime.

I like not spending money. I do not use Adwords either. Maybe I'm wasting too much time trying to gather people to my boards and Adwords would be easier but cost money. IDK

Some people do very well with paying small amounts of money for traffic and then make more money when the traffic leave from ads. I tried a little of this, but just lost a small amount of money.

I think if you know what you are doing it can work, but you really have to know adwords and keep working at it. You also have to have a site that will get you the clicks from visitors.

I know adwords pretty well so if anyone has any questions please ask.
