Well, if you do this long enough, eventually, over time, you will find quite a few inbound links to your site from all these other sites. Because it is yet another avenue to link back to your websites URL and deliver its content to the rest of the web, it will also indirectly help your ranking as the search engines start give more and more credence to RSS feeds.
