How to do Western Digital hard drive recovery?

Hi all, I accidentally formatted the WD hard drive and forget to back up some very important files. Is it possible to restore deleted files due to formatting? I have also installed the western digital data recovery software on my computer but don't know how to restore lost files!! Plz help me out
