How to submit my new site to Google/Bing/Yahoo etc.?

Setup an account in Google webmaster tools and bing webmaster tool and submit your website. You don't need to submit your website to yahoo. Because bing and yahoo are merged now. When ever you submit to bing you also submit your website to yahoo.

You can manually add your website to Google and bing:
For Google: google(dot)com/addurl
For bing : ssl.bing(dot)com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx
