Hi guys..anyone can tell me the use of soldering iron. I'm new to soldering. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Some components such as diodes can be damaged by heat from a soldering iron, and requires the use of a heat sink. An alligator clip or a pair of needle nose pliers usually do the trick. Some components are polarity sensitive, so be aware of that too.

Soldering iron is a device with a metal tip that gets really hot. Its job is to transfer heat to elements like cables, transistor leads & shields on PCBs. After the proper places are heated effectively, solder is applied.

Its too informative and really very best work done here that i ever found
great work done and awesome sharing it is
