Lately I've been trying to acquire expired domains in GoDaddy expired domain auctions. I gotta say, I HATE a lot of the tricks Godaddy pulls.
I noticed a domain name I was interested in that was expired, then miraculously the domain name appeared was offered for a Premium for $8,500. It stayed like that for 2 weeks until it went into auction which I had never seen before. I've noticed this a few times, so I believe Godaddy must do it a lot.
Then the other day I did what most people do when they see a domain they want... I waited until the last 15 minutes to bid. Put in my $12 bid and then there were like 4 or 5 other bidders in the domain auction and they bid the damn domain up to end user prices. Wtf?
Seems like there is no winning with Godaddy expired auctions. Anyone else agree? Want to share stories?
