When your PR is 4-5 or more then you get more traffic.

Now to get the type in traffic you need nice domain names. Which people would type in.

To get better rankings and position in search engines you need to do SEO things and get as many backlinks as possible. And write some unique content for your site.

To make links do the directory submissions, article submissions, forum posting etc.
