IDN domains

I just put in an offer for a one-word Japanese word domain. If it was English it would be worth hundreds of thousands easily. I only bought it because I thought it might be a really good investment - something to hold onto for many years.

Does anyone else have any interest in these kinds of domains? If so I would ask NS to create a topic for them.

I'll post more about my domain after I complete the sale. Then I have to figure out if I should park it or build a site for it...?

I've been trying to find Japanese domains ALL NIGHT LONG! Picked up some nice ones back in May, but WOW... everything is taken. A majority of my IDN portfolio (currently @ about 800 IDNs) is in Arabic and I got my hands on some serious gold... wondering if you have more than one? How's the traffic doing on your IDN? I've got some making xx/day right now... which last year were making x/month! I took a serious risk when starting, but things look bright.

IDNs do sell and some for big loot but it takes a good understanding of the language you are targetting. What might be a common english term would translate into a very uncommon IDN domain. The best is if you can speak the language you are investing IDN.
