Look-a-like names

I'm new to the domaining and was wondering if look-a-like names have value. Would CALlFORNlA.COM ("L" instead of "I") be worth holding developing a site for? I wouldn't think it would be good for parking since there aren't keywords in the domain name. Does anyone have an estimate for CALlFORNlA.com?

personally I don't go for these types of names.

I expect they are unbrandable to end users (because they will lose all their traffic to the real name)

As L is close to i, it may still have value if it gets decent typo traffic.

estibot.com puts it at 178 usd, which i expect is over valued unless it's making about that in parking revenue in a year.

Domains like these show up on eBay and other sites from time to time. The owners use a lower-case letter like "l" and not "L" in hope that someone will miss it and buy it thinking they have the correctly spelled word. Some have also used accented letters, like in "Intèrnet.com", to try and trick people.

I don't see any value to these domains outside of this questionable practice.

Sorry friend but it is a Reg fee domain name. Maximum it can get is Low $xx if someone buys it.

Plus I think it is not even developable as you would be spending your efforts on this. Why not spend it on some better domain name.
