I own the domain name moraloutrage.net which I've currently loaned out for development. I don't think there's a huge $$$$ value on the name but it generates traffic patterns now of about 15,000 unique visits per month (and climbing).

How does one place a value on what might be considered a low end domain name but has a steady growth in traffic (and search engine rankings).

$$ theories on this anyone?

Such domains can only be priced with revenue it's generating.

Typically, $revenue/mth x 10-12 mths.
If site makes $100/mth, then, you can expect $1,200

Plus, where traffics are coming from?
Traffics from USA tend to value more.

Plus, does most traffic coming from typein or search engines?
Typein traffic always pay more as SE position can change.

Plus, does site have membership?
Membership site always pay more.
Is it paid membership or free membership?
Paid membership always pay more.

The site really generates no revenue ( a little bit from banner ads but nothing significant).

The traffic is all USA based as, due to spam, most other countries have been IP blocked.

Approximately 10% of the traffic is direct traffic. The remainder is search engine traffic of which the bulk is google. While there have been fluctuations in rank, the site is now holding steady on page 1 (which also accounts for the increase in site traffic).
