Checked it out. Looks nice and neat.

If possible then you can increase the height of the Latest cheats and Popular cheats on the first page so that it can take on over all the white space that is left out there.

For design this looks cool as the visitor who is looking for cheats will not be disturbed by any other blah blah on the page. And would get the exact things that he needed.

On the scale of 10 points I will give it 8 points. Sorry if I am being too hard on it. :grin:

There would be a query somewhere stating "LIMIT 0, 10"

Just make it "LIMIT 0, 20" or "LIMIT 0, 30"

So that it can fetch more rows and the rest will be handled by the existing code itself.

If there was a DB, that would make things easier, but unfortunately there is no database, everything comes from a third party web service.

I've not really looked into the API for it so far, just skinned the data, and reworked it to use mod_rewrite to get them pretty SEO URLs :wink:

I liked the site myself was just concerned about the duplicate content thing. If needed you can check it with copyscape.com

I had this concern, too. Would the third party web service be listed in the results for someone searching for your site? That could be a problem.

Yeah, there will definitely be duplicate content, I don't really care - the domain was lying around doing nothing and I came across the cheat web service, so I spent a few mins skinning it. It gets some type in traffic, I'm not too fussed about getting any PR or SERPs.

I might add some more content to it, no plans at the moment though.


I like the current layout, definitely no plans to update that.


None of my websites have ever had a final version! I always go back to them and make changes eventually....

Oh man I did forgot that I do have a huge database of cheats with me. Maybe it is 5 or 6 months old not much updated but if you want it then please let me know.

Thanks for the generous offer Nameslot, however the problem with a database is maintaining it and keeping it up to date!

I really don't have the time to either input the cheats myself or moderate cheat submissions :frown:

Wouldn't a database also contain duplicate content? Unless you built it up yourself?
