There is some changing in PHP 6.0 like, it has no magic quotes, it will be removed and Array index can be used to sub string or take an array slice. And I don't have any information about the perfect release date of PHP 6.

Most of the new features have been backported to 5.3, so the only major change in 6.0, will be native unicode support for strings.

PHP 6 has the newest features such as improved Unicode support, namespace function and these new features are easier to use in some cases more secure. I think you all will use them with speed development.
