Please review this Online Shopping

This is my friends site and he wanted me to redesign it for him..but before i start it I want some suggestions from you webmasters...and design pros...

Few Points which were there in my Mind

1) Should I Change the Layout
2) Should the header contain some logos of the brands which is for sale on the site like Ocean Dream , etc..
3) JUST A RECOMMENDATION Need Serious Comments : Is it a good Idea to implement a Forum on this site which could be useful for Customers to give their reviews about the product they have purchased..??
