For all ruby programmers.

The best place to get started and find some very useful tools to get a grip on ruby programming language.

I hope this will atleast get you at the starting point of Ruby.

Humm... Ruby.

Had been around from very start when I entered the internet.

Ruby is a reflective, dynamic, object-oriented programming language. It combines syntax inspired by Perl with Smalltalk-like object-oriented features, and also shares some features with Python, Lisp, Dylan and CLU. Ruby is a single-pass interpreted language. Its main implementation is free software distributed under an open-source license.

Some great free books on Ruby Language: http://books.pspxworld.com/BOOK/PROGRAMMING/RUBY.php

Thanks,

FYI, very few hosts support ruby on rails.

Ruby is amazing compared to PHP, its just that PHP is more popular, so many peices of software use PHP insead/

Yep. The server environment was the main reason I had to choose between Ruby and PHP. And I went with PHP.
