Site Content Clarifications

It has been a year already and this site that I have really have been doing well in the online world and I am pretty happy about the whole matter. The problem is that when some of my buddies came over to see it, they commented that the site could do much better if only I have been updating the content in a much regular basis. I don’t know the rules and regulations when it comes to the whole matter of doing updates on the site. Can anybody in here extend some help in form or information to me? I would really be glad about any info that you will share.

It helps to get the good PR to the website. spam of the content is not entertained by the Google, If the content gets spammed the Google cannot crawl the website so it may lead to fall down the PR.
