Site Default Is .org/wordpress/, does this effect SEO?

I think I am about to go to work for a company that is using Wordpress - when you go to the site xxxxxxx.org it defaults to xxxxx.org/wordpress/ - Now I know Website Grader isnt the end all to end all but it can't process that URL - does that mean ( too) that there is a potential problem with this SEOwise?
