Social bookmarking strategy advice

I have an ecommerce site and Im working on optimising each page. Im targeting a couple of keywords per page, some are not too competitive. Would it be a good strategy to add my pages using these keywords to social bookmarking sites or would this not offer much help. Im thinking that I might only need a couple of backlinks for each keyword to build it up.

Generally social bookmarking help you to get some traffics not for backlinks. So bookmark you site with your keywords because if some one will search for you keywords then you site can come in list.

Try to select always related tags for your bookmark because your tags will help you to get some traffics. If some one will search for your tags then in SERPs your bookmark can come on top.

Pay attention to your Headlines
Write a meaningful & short description
Make it easy for others to vote / bookmark your site
Submit to the right category
Cooperate with other social bookmarkers
Never submit old news
Check your spelling

If the keywords which are taking are not much competitive then you should get benefits and it will be useful to use SB.

If they are highly targetted then you should use other strategies as well..
