www.TheAppleUpdate.com is for sale, and at present is a wordpress site using different Apple products as categories.
It is for sale with the theme and existing content.
I'm not claiming any income for the site at present.
I'm one of those people who registers a domain, meaning to do something with it, but not getting around to it, so the site itself is new.
The domain though is something different again.
First registered in 2007, the domain is "mature", and hasn't shown any drops in that time.
I use http://whois.domaintools.com/ to check out domains that I am interested in buying/registering to see if they have a history.

Registrar History: 1 registrar
NS History: 5 changes on 4 unique name servers over 2 years.
IP History: 8 changes on 5 unique name servers over 4 years.
Whois History: 6 records have been archived since 2007-11-15.
Why the apple update and not ipad/iphone hyphen something or other?
Well, my idea is that by using this name, it can cover all the products that Mr Jobs and company have on the market, both now and in the future.
That's why I use iPad, iPhone etc as categories
Apart from that, I reckon that a lot of those domains will be available for rock bottom prices as the owners realize that there is a lot of competition.
While competition is good, why bother coming in late and registering a new domain that may or may not be penalized by Google for being new?
A mature domain, even with a new site on it, will usually do better in search results.
Why am I selling?
Because it is what I do... I won't bore you with crap like having to get new teeth for my great uncle Bill or getting the dog desexed or anything stupid like that!
I will say though that I haven't added anything to the site since May 15, and it deserves better than that!
I'm going to get busy and add some more content today - I promise!
How much is it worth?
Let's let the market decide. I'm putting it up here before I list it on an auction site to see if I get any interest.
