Some really good points are discussed in this article. The will forms the most important part of the web planning and therefore it needs to be made well keeping in mind a lot of facts. One must not also forget about the fact that they might also need some or the other kind of method during the later part of their usage. These things should also form an integral part of the plan. Throughout the life there are numerous things that keep on happening in a person’s life. Things like new directories are added to the system and also at times some older ones are lost or moves out. Therefore a well made plan is of utmost importance while deciding on such issues.

Just because a link has been identified does not guarantee that it will provide significant search ranking benefit, not all backlinks are the same, they are probably "depreciated". ( I recall one SEO authority talking about his getting a big client to stop spending thousands a month on paid backlinks they had been employing, the lack of significant loss in search ranking suggests these links may have been already identified and discredited as unnatural.)A rule of thumb rule that has some merit is, the easier a link is to get, the less benefit it will provide, mass directory submissions can be made semi-automatically with the right software, though one would think the directory approval process would add some credibility to the links the provide, some hard to gt into or paid directories are believed to still give significant search rank value, these include the Amazon directory with it's $299 a year review fee and the non commercial DMOZ human reviewed directory, though bribing of editors to get quicker listing may have eroded the search engine respect of that site.
