What are best strategies for Forum discussion?

Some of the strategies that i follow are:
Posting forum in my website related topic,
Not posting website links in message body,
Not do excessive posting etc.

Follow Some handy points like

Do not give any comment about any topic you are no familiar with.
Do not insert a lot of links within your signatures. I myself prefer to have only 1.
Post like a wise person and stay to the topic.
The communicating language must be well written and meaningful other wise people will not read your posts and hence will not comment on.
