What are the career prospects of being a Search Engine Optimizer?

I want to join a course on Search Engine Optimization, in hopes of getting a job. Although I have come to know that it is a promising career, I would like to know what are my career prospects going to be as a Fresher in this domain. Also, are there any chances of international placements in SEO for freshers? What is the payscale that a fresher in SEO can expect in India?

Search Engine Optimization industry have good futures but when you expand your knowledge about SEO and other Internet Marketing stuff. as you experienced in this field you must know about all activities of Internet Marketing. but you can start with SEO. SEO is platform to learn about internet Marketing.

About Payscal in India i think 6-8K is enough for SEO freshers.
