Lipstick contains lead and also contains other heavy metals such as nickel, copper, chromium, arsenic and cobalt and when a woman applies lipstick, some of these toxic substances are absorbed by the lips in our stomach. The rest of them are absorbed by the pigment of the skin where they react with other chemicals in the environment and causes rashes on the lips.

Some lipsticks available on the market especially the cheaper ones are harmful to use because those product didn't pass on quality assurance board to use for people.
