What do you Mean by Traffic

My blog do not have any traffic. I have earlier started submitting blogs to all the major directories earlier and still I have not been able to gather the required traffic. I think there is a limit to the submission. I cannot submit more than what is required. Everytime I get a new article in hand I make sure to do a submission to the social bookmark. I was just wondering thnat every time I make a submission din I have to do it in a new way. I made a submission to digg and also to the reedit. In case of digg my articles did not get the required response. I want to know the reason for this.

Tough question! A lot of people here are developers as opposed to site owners, so they might not personally run sites. Good Traffic always depends on what the original goals might have been. A hobby site on which very little money was spent is very different than a site developed with investors money, etc. In terms of my site, the more the merrier! We have as many as 2+million pages read in our busiest months - which is fine by me. I see that as somewhere near the limit for my current installation of EE - that is, a single dedicated three year old server.

first of all, traffic is those visitors you get to visite your site or blog. There are many ways to get traffic, either through SEO, google adwords,article marketting,social bookmarking etc.
for your site to succeed either with adsense or affliliate marketting, you need traffic and without traffic you cant make money. one good way of getting traffic to your site or blog is organic traffic, that is by pinging your blog anytime you make a new post on your blog, just log on to pingomatic.com and ping your new post, that way you will get the search engine to immidiate viste your site or blog. another way is visiting others people blogs related to your niche and leaving a nice comment with your link, that way you will steal some traffic from those blogs because the people that visite those blog will get to visite yours through your comment and link. make sure your comment is useful. my best way is the free traffic method which is article marketting, make sure you write at least two articles a week to ezine article and other article directories, that way you will get lots of traffic to your blog.
