Chat rooms are a great place to meet and communicate with others.There are a lot of chat rooms.Chat avenue ,chathouse .com,Chat.com are the major search engines. .It also includes HTML only chatting for non Java enabled browsers.Chat rooms topics ranging from entertainment and sports, to politics and pop culture.My favorite chat room is Yahoo messenger chat room.What is your favorite chat room?Thanks for the replies.

I have not more time to use yahoo chat because i am a bit busy with gtalk and MSN messenger with our clients.

But before some times about 2 year my favorite room was entertainment.

i agree, time is so limited these days. I used to chat in the yahoo geographic chat rooms in the 90s.

Now i just use the messenger programs to chat with friends and associates one on one.

Currently i use yahoo messenger, but am not picky. my 2 favorites are yahoo and msn though.

I also use Yahoo Messenger for communicating with friends. I haven't tried using MSN or Gtalk yet.

I used to chat in yahoo messenger and mirc before. the minimum hours I used to spend in chatting was 5 hours. But that was just before. I realized it was such a waste of time and I've got more important things to do. The chat room that i was always into was regional. But now, i don't chat anymore except to my friends and relatives. Today, the chat room is being populated by indecent people already, even the religion chat room..sadly...and i hate it!

Does anyone remember ICQ? I used that when I was in like, grade school or something. After that, I used Yahoo Messenger. I used that for a while. Nowadays, I mostly stick to Gtalk because all of the things I do revolve around Google and Gmail. Sometimes I use Skype to talk with clients abroad, but I still use Gtalk most often.

i started chatting in yahoo chatrooms when i was new to internet some years back.
but i saw that there are so many dirty stuff going on there.
so i stopped chatting.

these are now out of fashion.
and people send so many virus links in there.

I personally recommend Yahoo Messenger as I have been using it for years. Yahoo Avatar and other remarkable features made me prefer it over ICQ.
