I don't think Google will be thrown from it's top position since they are trying their best to make their search engine better and fight content duplication.

That seems you are waiting for when Crabs should blink eyes. People behind Google are always on lookout for new ways of improvement and that is why when would Google go down is not known yet. Google always work for people. They completely people oriented firm so i don't think this will going to be happen in future. They are doing good job for making internet more user friendly.
