That was an interesting read, mann3r. I thought it was common knowledge that spammers love social websites because of the ample amount of information and userbase - it makes sense, right?

I really liked it and so also did gave it a vote from my side.

I do have one social website of my own. But right now spammers are staying away from it  as there is less traffic on it.

On other sites like blogs that I have spammers are becoming a daily routine of my life.

Great article social websites are the softest target for them.

Spammers just love to sit and fluster in social websites. I think that's is very annoying but hey, what can you do D: I will say that I'm sick of hearing about my long lost cousin Tanya and reasons why I should enlarge my private area.

LOL. As if we don't know. What they are upto.
No matter how smart the SPAM prevention methods are in place. The spammers will find they way around it.

i have seen one comment, which is valid, is because it is free. But the thing is being free is the way the internet should be, does it?

The social network owners are making money from the ads and other things. It is the people who are sent to wrong sites by the spammers to get some more hits or sell them their lousy stuff.

I know! That's so unfortunate... Even with an AOL account with all those fancy 'Spam Prevention' and 'Spam Folder' things, the spam will wiggle into your mailbox somehow. Then again, AOL sucks really bad.

on the other hand services offered by social media and its fight for spam is getting tougher also so as the spammers
