Will Google Penalize or Reward?

If I am experimenting with my keywords, description and title tags . . . will Google penalize or reward these changes?

Is there a certain length of time I should allow each change to stay on my site?

personal human contact. He likes to see things grow over time and he
rewards those who also honor this process. So to make Google happy, build
your links gradually. As you patiently build more links through Content
Crooner, then Google will reward your efforts.
