www domains?

Has anyone had any luck with domains like:

wwwnameslot.com or www-nameslot.com?

I see a certain number of these that have been registered in the past but have no idea if this gets any traffic or not.

I also saw some people taking this kind of domains but most of the time i see them in expired domains list so got an idea that they might not be performing well so people are letting it expire.

I have one, it gets about 30 visitors a day and more than pays for itself.

I guess it depends if the domain without the www gets a lot of typeins...

I definitely would NOT get the one with the hyphen in!
